A beautiful blue tufted silk Victorian jewelry case from the 1880s. The box has some wear commensurate with age on the outside, notable on the bottom - please see all photos. The inside of the box is in fantastic condition. The hinge has slightly separated on the right but, is attached.
Box #1 - Rectangular black box on left for Windsor jewellers in England. Peachy interior lining - both top satin lining and bottom velvet show some soiling. Size is 3" long x 2.5" wide x 1 1/8" tall.
Box #2 - Square black box in center for a NYC jeweler has a push button clasp. The dark blue display pad has a knob in the center. Some wear to top of box and staining on interior white lining. Size is 2 5/8" x 2 5/8" x 3/4" high.
Box #3 - Golden box on right for Farrington, Boston. Dark velvet interior with satin lining. Some wear and soiling. Size is 1 5/8" long x 1 1/2" wide x 1 3/8" high.
