Moonstone has been used in jewelry for civilizations. The Romans believed it came from the solidified rays of the moon. Both Romans and Greeks associated it with lunar deities such as Diana, Selene, Trivia and Hecate, the Queen of the Night. Known as the Traveler's Stone, it is especially protective of those who travel by night.
This Man in the Moon ring features an adularescent peach moonstone whose sheen changes depending on the light, surrounded by a narrow halo and a collar with sterling silver pearls. The fine and sterling silver bezel face measures 5/8" tall x 3/8" wide and sits on a sterling silver band, size 6.25. The reverse is stamped with my maker's mark and sterling silver marking. You will received the pictured ring.
