This fine example of a Georgian c. 1820 bracelet features a double strand of coveted star-decorated links and a striking clasp/closure - a hand with intricate three-dimensional foliate details on the cuff and fingernails that wears an emerald ring and pearls in its cuff. So rare to find intact as many were melted down, the hand clasp converted to pendant.
This bracelet measures about 7.5" long, weighs approximately 16.2g and is fashioned from 18k (tests) gold. The tongued clasp closes securely. A safety chain links both sides for extra protection against loss. In wonderful condition for its age with one link held by fingers and one other with a visible repair done in antiquity. Difficult to see when worn and definitely not detracting from the beauty and rarity of this piece. You will receive the pictured bracelet.
