A beautiful ring featuring five 14k gold bands, each dotted with a pattern of prong-set rainbow moonstones that create a diamond pattern. Although separate in construction, the articulating bands are connected at the back, threading through a rectangular tube. The inner part of this rectangle has been marked for 14k.
The first harem rings were reported to be created as wedding bands in Turkey and then were interpreted in Western Europe and became popular during the 19th century and very early 20th century.
This harem ring is a size 7.5 and cannot be sized due to its design. It shows wear commensurate with age and use, a small chip to one bottom stone that does not detract from the beauty of this piece. Please view all photos as they form part of the description.
This ring weighs 5.2g and measures about 7/8" across the front. You will receive the pictured ring.
