I've always been attracted to the romance of antique seals. Recently, I happened upon a little parcel of loose antique intaglios. This particular one is of a dove holding an olive branch, fashioned out of carnelian. The symbol is an ancient one meaning peace, grace and mercy. They have also been used to symbolize love and renewal.
The intaglio has been set in a handmade 14k yellow gold setting that fits like a size 5, the front face measuring 11.7mm tall. It weighs 3.7g. You will receive the pictured ring.
