A beautiful early Victorian gold engraved or chased split ring circa 1860.

Antique split rings can be used in many ways. You can use them to join chains together, attach charms to them and wear on a chain, or wear them as rings.

Not marked but, tests as sterling silver - 15.2mm wide

European, most likely English.
