This c.1800 Georgian miniature depicts a sepia painting on ivory of an urn, a timeless vessel that holds a loved one's ashes and a classic symbol of mourning.
The pendant is set in 9-10k yellow gold (tested) with a convex glass cover and a chased floral border. It measures approximately 18.3mm in diameter (not including hanging bail) and weighs approximately 2.7g. The reverse has wear and bears the inscription "EM to LM". Wear commensurate with age. You will receive the pictured locket.
