The early Victorian era reflected the youth of the new Queen Victoria. Themes inspired by the Renaissance and the Middle Ages were everywhere in jewelry design and motifs from nature dominated the period. Bouquets of flowers, branches, leaves, grapes, and berries were prominently featured in jewelry. Symbolism associated with flowers abounded.
The shoulders repousséd with foliate details ... the beautiful engraving on the face... this early Victorian ring is a sight to behold. Crafted on 18k gold, it takes up an elegant amount of real estate on the hand
The face measures 10.4mm wide by 9.7mm and the ring weighs 3.4g. It is a size 11.75. Hallmarked on the outer part of the band with the French eagle head mark for 18k gold, alongside another mark that is difficult to read. You will receive the pictured ring.
