A favorite gem of Cleopatra's, ancient texts describe the emerald as the “gem of good luck” and the “gem that improves one’s well-being”.
This beautiful sparkling English 5 stone ring was a very popular design during the Victorian era, these rings were often referred to as "boat" rings because of their hull-like shape. This sparkler is set with 3 emeralds and 2 old cut diamonds with a pierced gallery. The open backs allow the light to pass through the stones for a wonderful sparkle.
This classic 5-stone ring features approximately 0.1ct of emeralds and 0.064ct of diamonds. It was assayed in London and clearly hallmarked as 18k gold, with a date letter indicating 1908. It weighs 2.4g and is a size 5. Evidence of possibly well done resizing where some of the maker's mark is obscured. You will receive the pictured ring.
