In the Victorian era, this type of "honeymoon" brooch was often gifted to a bride from her groom, as the crescent symbolized the "delights of the night". It was a brooch that I have converted into a pendant.
This vintage crescent pendant was made in c.1970. It is hallmarked on the bail (which I created from the original pin) for England and 9k gold. It measures 20mm (without the bail), with an estimated 0.48ct of rubies and an overall weight of 2.8g. Wear commensurate with age and use. You will receive the pictured pendant.
* Chain sold separately.
