The period of English rule in India became known as the British. Many pieces of jewelry were created to appeal to the British looking to for something "exotic". Claw jewelry such as these earrings became extremely popular. These are encased in 9k yellow gold jackets with each tip ending in a gold bead.
Beautiful danglers just as they are or, alternatively, I can remove the pierced ear parts and add jump rings so they can be worn as pendants, to be shared with you and a loved one. Fully hallmarked as 9k in Birmingham in 1865.
Combined weight of 1.8g, 15.5mm long (from top to bottom of claw).
* Props used in photos, such as antique boxes, are not included in purchases.
