It's thought that love tokens originated as early as the 13th century. They are are coins where one side has been smoother down and then hand engraved. Sentimental "messages" could include a lover's initials or monogram, name, dates, or an image meant to remind or for luck. They were often bent to create a wave to try to prevent them from being used as currency.
This listing is for the pictured love token - "George" engraved on a silver 10c Victorian coin. US dime used for scale only. Choose between it claw set into a custom handmade 10k yellow gold pendant (similar to pictured) or a Firestarter lighter sleeve (I will contact you with stone options). **There is only one coin available.
The Firestarter design is a marriage of new and old intended for your ritual practice or, to carry as a favorite lighter. A one of a kind piece that cannot be replicated and handmade from sterling and fine silver, it is designed to fit mini-Bic lighters. It will ship without the lighter due to shipping restrictions. Approximate size of sleeve - just under 2 1/4" tall.
