Saint Joan of Arc pendants in gold are extremely difficult to come by. This vintage medallion is crafted in buttery 22k yellow gold and features beautifully detailed reliefs on both the front and reverse.
On the front is written "Bienheureuse Jeanne D'Arc", which translates to "Blessed Joan of Arc". On the reverse, her flag with the words "Jhesus Maria", as written on her banner standard, with dates and places surrounding it - "Domrémy 1412", the place and date she was born; "Orléans 1429" when she was victorious in battle; "Rouen 1431" for her trial and execution and "Rome 1909" when she was formally beatified.
The hollow medallion measures 17.8mm in diameter (without the bail) and weighs 1.8g. Fully hallmarked with the french eagle's head and the number 1 for 22k gold. You will receive the pictured pendant.
