A beautiful late Georgian/early Victorian foiled clear paste pin. The pin itself bears no hallmarks but, the head tests as silver while the stem as 18k gold. The collet set foiled old mine cut paste is in wonderful condition with no visible scratches or nicks.
Wear it as is or have it converted to a ring by your jeweler.
The pin measures 2 3/8” long and the head approximately 8.8mm in diameter. The tip is still sharp and fits easily through fabric and it retains its patina (I have not polished it). Weighs 1.4g
