The 1800s Crystal Reverse Intaglio necklace features an antique cabochon with a pansy motif. The name pansy is from the French word pensée meaning “thought”. The flower was so named because it resembles a human face. The pansy is said to draw love - it is a potent flower for love spells.
The pendant is 1" in diameter, not including the bail, and is stamped with a sterling silver marking on the reverse. It hangs on an 18" sterling silver Italian ball and chain necklace. My maker's mark umbrella hangs on a tag near the clasp. The entire piece has been oxidized and polished to enhance details. You will receive the pictured necklace.
