A mid-1800s Christological ring symbolizing Jesus, with acanthus leaves on the shoulders and a gold cross on white enamel on the central panel, symbolizing peace.
This ring was crafted 14k yellow gold. Rivet construction on the reverse of the oval panel typical of the age. French shell mark for imported 14k and additional partial unidentified hallmark on the outer band, likely Portuguese. It weighs 1.4g and is in lovely antique condition. A wonderful antique treasure.
