These beautiful Savoyardes (also, Créoles or Tarines) earrings are a regional design from Savoy, France very typical of the 19th century.
They have been engraved on both sides, with a different pattern on each. The clasps close securely and they are very comfortable to wear - a super pretty and easy way to complete that French-girl look.
They have a combined weight of 3.6g and are 26.4mm tall by 20mm wide. Crafted in 18k yellow gold. The earrings are not marked for gold (which is not unusual in older French jewelry) but, have been tested and bear the maker's mark on both earrings - a J & D in a lozenge. Likely from the early 20th century.
