Whenever a squirrel crosses my path, something good happens that day. For me, they've come as omens of good luck.
In some cultures, the squirrel is a sacred animal and is sometimes connected with various gods, especially those associated with powerful forces of nature. It often represents rebirth, renewal, energy, positivity, hard work, duty and balance.
This handsome antique squirrel seal charm would have once decorated a watch chain. It has beautiful details and etchings at its base and the bottom reveals a smooth bloodstone. It measures approximately 17.6mm tall (not including the hanging ring) and the seal base measures 12.5x11mm. It weighs 1.5g and is hallmarked for 9ct on the bail.
