Violets have multiple powers - they are used for protection, luck, love, wishes, peace and healing. When they are carried, they protect against "wicked spirits". I studied botany for a while in university. I was terrible at it but, I am forever obsessed with all manner of plants and herbs.
Every year, I try to expand my garden. Unfortunately, I have not inherited my mother's green thumb. The one flower that has been in my yard since before I moved into my home, and the one that continues to flourish, is the wild violet. Thank god for wildflowers. They now surround the entire perimeter of my garden, protecting the house from just beyond the fence.
The Viola Selvatica ring features a cast wild violet on a cast twig shank, all sterling silver, oxidized and polished to bring out the details. Fits like a 6.25/6.5. The flower face measures approximately 3/4" in diameter at its widest point. You will receive the pictured ring.
