The style know as "Giardinetti" (meaning "little gardens") included brooches, pendants, earrings and rings in the shape of branches, bouquets or baskets of flowers. The style originated in Italy and spread throughout Europe in the mid 18th Century.
Inspired by its antique predecessors, this ring is a burst of spring on your hand.
It features natural Damele turquoise, natural Pinto Valley turquoise and natural coral, all in fine and sterling silver settings. It is decorated with a cast flower and leaf and has been oxidized and brushed to bring out its details. The bezel face measures 1 3/8" long by 3/4" at its widest. This ring is a size 7.5. My maker's mark has been stamped on the inner band. You will receive the pictured ring.
* The vintage coral in this ring was harvested from the South China Sea, off a small group of islands near Vietnam, by several generations of a few families there. As the coral became more and more depleted, it was permanently banned and is no longer available from this area.
