A scarce c. 1920/30 French velvet ring box with a few base metal/copper and paste ring samples which would have been used by a salesperson. Box reads "Or Doublé Supérieur" for "Superior Doubled Gold" meaning gold filled. Rings range in size from 4.5 to 6.
This box measures 3.5" long x 2.75" wide x 1.25" tall. It shows wear commensurate with age and use.
