The early Victorian era reflected the youth of the new Queen Victoria. Themes inspired by the Renaissance and the Middle Ages were everywhere in jewelry design and motifs from nature dominated the period. Bouquets of flowers, branches, leaves, grapes, and berries were prominently featured in jewelry. Symbolism associated with flowers abounded.
The shoulders repousséd with scrolls and volute details, the central plaque waiting for your engraving... this early Victorian ring is a beauty. Crafted in 18k gold, it takes up an elegant amount of real estate on the hand.
The central plaque measures 10mm by 10.5mm and the ring weighs 3g. It is a size 11.5. Hallmarked on the outer part of the band with the French eagle head mark for 18k gold. Wear commensurate with age and use. You will receive the pictured ring.
