Saint Christopher is the patron saint of travellers. According to legend, he was crossing a river when a child asked to be carried across. Although the child was extremely heavy, he lifted him onto his back and crossed the river. Unknown to Saint Christopher, the child was actually Christ carrying the weight of the whole world.
In the 1960s, California surfers started wearing St. Christopher pendants and they quickly became a staple of classic surfer style.
This vintage pendant was crafted in 18k yellow gold, measures 12.2mm wide x 16.6mm tall and weighs 1.56g. It bears French hallmarks for 18k gold. You will receive the pictured charm.
