The French "Et puis voici mon coeur qui ne bat que pour vous" translates to "And then here is my heart which beats only for you" and comes from the poem "Green" by Paul Verlaine.
This is a wish token made by the Monnaie de Paris c. 1970, designed by the artist Jean Vernon. On the front, a gift of a basket of flowers and a large heart. On the reverse, "voeux les plus vifs", meaning "warmest wishes".
These wish tokens were meant to be exchanged between friends and lovers. Cast in bronze and dipped into 22k gold for a very luxurious look, it has been set in a generous 10k yellow gold frame.
This large pendant will weigh around an estimated 16.5g finished and measures 1.25" x 1.25" (without the bail). The token itself is stamped with "BR" for bronze on its base, which is hidden by the gold frame. You will receive the pictured token.
