A tiny and beautifully engraved early Victorian slide, with hair forming a monogram. Likely a sentimental piece for a family. member or loved one. The reverse is engraved "Emily Perigal, hair, cut at Cremill 1840". It would have been worn on a ribbon around the wrist or neck.
This slide was crafted in approximately 18k gold (acid tested), with a monogram behinda beveled rock crystal face. There is a tiny chip to one corner - please see photos. The slide measures 8.5mm x 10.2mm and weighs approximately 1.7g. You will receive the pictured slide.
* Listing is for slide only.
